Meet the Team

I bring over 20 years of high-performance coaching and leadership experience to my role as Director of Aquatics at Cognita ENRICH ME. I’ve coached more than 40 swimmers onto Junior and Senior International Teams, including Junior International medalists and two Olympians. My athletes have earned over 300 National Championship medals, set 30+ National Records, and broken a World Junior Record.

I’m passionate about student-athlete development, helping over 50 swimmers transition to university programs across the UK and USA. I’ve coached on more than 15 National Junior and Senior teams at international meets and previously served as Director of Swimming for Hamilton Aquatics in the UAE and Reston School in the UK.

I stay active in the swimming community through clinics, parent talks, and my work with the AP Race podcast. Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Sporting Directorship at Manchester Metropolitan University to deepen my leadership expertise.

I specialise in building high-performance environments that integrate elite sport with education, ensuring athletes excel both in and out of the pool. By collaborating closely with schools, coaches, and families, I focus on long-term athlete development, well-being, and success beyond sport.

As an elite endurance athlete and multiple world record holder with 26 years of competitive experience, my vision is rooted in the transformative power of sports. I believe in the profound impact of bespoke mentorship, tailored to each athlete’s unique needs, setting them on their path to sporting excellence.

The ENRICH ME Excellence Sports Program embodies this vision by nurturing exceptional student-athletes through personalized mentorship and elite sports training. We aim to develop not only their athletic abilities but also essential qualities such as discipline, teamwork, leadership, resilience, mindset, attitude, and the ability to deal with failure.
My goal is to create a supportive community where students can thrive both on the field and in the classroom. By fostering holistic growth and academic excellence, we empower student-athletes to learn and achieve their full potential and prepare them to make a positive impact on society.

I moved to Dubai 17 years ago. It was in this vibrant city that I met my wife, Suzanne, and where our two daughters were born. The UAE has been the setting for many of my greatest challenges and achievements. I was also the first person to run from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I ran a marathon (42 km) and a 100 km ultra in my backyard. Most recently, I completed 40 marathons in 40 days to raise funds for a worthy charity cause. All of my Guinness Wolrd records were set here in the UAE for various charites.

Before joining Cognita ENRICH ME, I served as the Captain of adidas Runners. In this role, Starting with a few runners in Dubai to over 15,000 across seven cities in five countries throughout the MENA region.

My journey has been fueled by a deep love for running and a commitment to sharing my experiences. I am passionate about supporting young, developing student athletes in cultivating a resilient mindset, empowering them to overcome any challenge they encounter.

With over 20 years of global experience in both professional and grassroots sports, I believe in the transformative power of sport to enrich people’s lives. I am committed to developing and implementing accessible sports programmes and events that foster personal growth, community building, and lifelong well-being.

To implement this philosophy, I focus on working with the ENRICH ME team to provide interesting and vibrant activities to engage children and parents alike as well as collaborative partnerships, and continuous education and training. Ultimately, my goal is to create environments where children thrive, communities unite, and the spirit of sport inspires future generations.

Growing up in rural Wales, I was always at the rugby or cricket club and competed in cross-country and swimming which began my passion for sport and fitness. After finishing my degree in Cardiff,I started by career in professional rugby. I then took opportunities to work in USA, Spain, Nigeria, UAE and UK in professional ice hockey, rugby and golf as well complete event management for a wide range of events from major sports tournaments, to community events and corporate team building.

I first moved to the UAE in 2009 and worked at various schools and for school groups in the region which has helped me forge a vision for excellence in sports and management while working for Cognita.

I enjoy fitness and weightlifting as well as traveling and cooking with my young family.

I am deeply passionate about working with children and witnessing their growth as they develop lifelong skills. Each day is an opportunity to inspire and nurture the potential within every child, helping them discover and cultivate their unique talents and identities.

I firmly believe that every child deserves the chance to find their passion, whether it be in sports, performing arts, or any other area of interest. By providing a diverse range of activities and experiences, we empower children to explore, dream, and achieve.

My goal is to create an environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and excited to learn.

Together, we can help them build a foundation for a bright and successful future.

With over 16 years of extensive swim teaching experience, including moving to Dubai in 2017, I have dedicated my career to fostering the growth and development of children. My journey has been enriched by the opportunity to connect with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, creating inclusive and engaging learning environments.

Additionally, my experience in operational management has enabled me to develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and success of educational programmes, managed staff, and aligned initiatives with the school’s vision and goals.

In my free time, I enjoy dancing, boxing, and hiking, all of which keep me energised and inspired.

I’m a passionate, fun-loving dance teacher who is an advocate for self-development and well-being.

I have a strong technical contemporary ballet foundation and a varied dance skillset integrated with a holistic well-being approach. I believe in not only providing excellence in technical dance training but connecting with the students creating a safe, non-judgmental environment as well as instilling the importance of maintaining a healthy relationship with mind, body, and soul.

I am dedicated to inspiring and motivating students to become confident well-rounded and creative performers, enabling them to reach their fullest potential on their dance journey with Cognita ENRICH ME Performing Arts programme.

During my 12 years of professional experience, 6 of which have been teaching dance full-time in Dubai, I have performed for HRH Prince William, choreographed my own contemporary dance show for the ‘Dubai Expo 2020’ and run my own dance brand ‘Home Sweet Dance’. I have also worked alongside global brands such as Adidas & Vogue.

Lucy Moore is a highly experienced and passionate individual on the netball courts. She holds impressive qualifications, being fully certified as a netball coach by both England Netball and Australia Netball for the past 8 years. Lucy’s expertise extends beyond coaching, as she has also excelled as a player. Not only has Lucy contributed to the growth of netball through coaching and playing, but she has also made a significant impact through her leadership. In Dubai, she successfully ran a netball program for 3 years, providing valuable opportunities for aspiring netball players to learn and develop their game.With a strong sense of commitment and enthusiasm, Lucy served as the Sports Coordinator at Jebel Ali School for 3 years.

In her free time she plays competitive Netball, She has competed in regional netball in the UK and Division 1 netball in Dubai, showcasing her skills and dedication to the sport. She also enjoys running and going for walks.

As a football coach, my philosophy revolves around nurturing young individuals to become not only skilled athletes but also responsible and empathetic adults, shaping a brighter future. I believe that children should always be at the core of every training session or project, providing them with the necessary tools to cultivate a secure, fun, and educational environment.

My coaching approach emphasizes the importance of a supportive and inclusive environment. Every member of the team plays a crucial role, and their unique strengths contribute to the collective success. I encourage open communication, respect, and empathy, recognizing that understanding each footballers as an individual is paramount to unlocking their full potential.

My journey in the realm of football began at the age of 8, in an academy in Modugno, a small town near Bari in the southeast of Italy. From that point on, football became my passion, and I dedicated myself to playing until the age of 21 in a semi- professional league. However, I made the decision to step away from playing to prioritize my studies at university.

After just a year, a teacher provided me with the opportunity to begin coaching. From that moment onward, I gained experience working with all age groups, including adults. I devoted myself to further education, completing my degree and master’s degree courses, and obtaining coaching certifications. At the age of 27, I took on the role of academy manager, and three years later, an opportunity in Dubai presented itself. This international experience in Dubai, my first of its kind, continues to be a fulfilling journey that I cherish.

I am deeply grateful for the experiences that have shaped my career, and I look forward to continuing this enriching voyage.

Music is a universal language has always fascinated me. As a passionate music teacher and vocal coach, I enjoy sharing the transformative power of music with students, exploring various instruments and styles to help them appreciate its evolution. Singing, in particular, is my main passion, and as a vocal coach, I aim to nurture students’ understanding of their voice, repertoire, and confidence, fostering self-expression through performance.

Born in Scotland, I started dancing at the age of 3, exploring various styles and advancing through examinations. Music and theatre always captivated me, leading me to take piano, saxophone, drum, and singing lessons from a young age. Throughout school and university, my passion for Musical Theatre drove me to participate in numerous amateur dramatic productions. Teaching at a performing arts school in Scotland in the evenings while working at a school during the day further fueled my love for the genre. I’m thrilled to be a part of Cognita ENRICH ME and share my passion with the students.
